Why is it that the people who speak the loudest about the Bible are the least knowledgeable? Could it be because they don’t read the Bible? I am of the opinion that the majority of the people sitting in churches get all of their biblical information from whoever is standing in the pulpit.

That is a problem. Preachers should impart knowledge but that should not be your only source. Another problem is preachers downloading their sermons instead of writing them.
